Birthday Party

We had a small party with family to celebrate Brooke and Lindsey's Birthday.

Brooke really wanted to do a Frozen Birthday Party since it is a new Disney movie due out the day after her birthday and the two girls in it are sisters.

Cedar Point Overload

We spent Labor Day at Cedar Point.
After all the excitement for the festivals they have been to over the summer there was no doubt the girls would love cedar point.  This was a whole new experience for me.  Working there for three summers while in college I had passes.  We would come and go all summer long waiting in long lines under the sun.  I never imagined trying to spend a whole day there and not leaving Camp Snoopy.  I may have been on the kiddie rides but I had more fun with them than I ever did on any roller coaster.  The smiles and giggles that came from all three girls was beyond exciting.  Something a first steep drop or a fast take off could never replace.  I was happy to spend the day at Camp Snoopy!
Brooke was equally excited to see how happy the rides made Lindsey.

Letting Lindsey and Brooke drive me around.

Cedar Point food of course!
Our bellies were full of nachos, hotdogs, dippin' dots, cheese on a stick and chili fries.

Grandma was in on the fun

Jenna's first "big" ride.  the balloons.  The guy said she just had to be able to walk.  That she could do but there were no belts and this thing spins.  Made me a little nervous once we were going.  Nothing like the Mom arm seat belt.  They loved it.

Leah flying the plane

We stopped for some dancing fun at the Camp Snoopy Theatre.  Lindsey danced along side the gang the whole time.

Brooke thinks she is most like Linus since he carries his blanket everywhere.

Lindsey was just obsessed with Lucy

Jenna and Papa

I guess I will take what I can get.

Brooke was all hands up for the Jr Gemini

More Cedar Point

We had so much fun as you can tell by all the pictures.
This is my favorite!  It captures the happiness that lasted all day.

Hands up!

All the fun Lindsey was having the and Frog Hopper is what she chose to throw an absolute fit about.  Probably one thing I would have picked to not be bad.  I am siding on the sun being in her eyes.  I really thought Brooke might loose her lunch on the Tilt A Whirl.  She wasn't looking so good.  I just kept thinking please don't puke please don't puke.  She didn't want to get back in line for a second ride.

Aunt Christa was even in on the kiddie ride fun.

Brooke was excited about the blimp on our way out and then I realized it was a Minion blimp.

Lindsey face looks too funny!

Camp Snoopy we shall return.

Drive In

While visiting we made a trip to the drive in. Despicable Me 2 and Monsters University were both playing.  My mom stayed home with Jenna and Lindsey.  Brooke was happy to have a little 1:1 time with us although she ended up watching most of the movies in the van with Leah.  It was perfect being able to see both movies at once not so perfect was how late they played and how Brooke made it through them both.
Having a little fun waiting for the movie

Playing a little game of Tenzie and eating lots and lots and way too much junk.

They loved the old miny shows they had for the concessions stand.

They even saw 2 shooting stars that night.

July 4th

The local fireworks were July 3rd. It made it nice since I worked the 3rd I was able to make it in plenty of time. Tim worked the 4th so he was still able to feel like he didn't miss anything. I took the girls and we headed to my sisters house for some family fun.  The summer has been full of rain and storms so we did have to go in and out.

Lindsey took my phone and was trying to hide.

Terrible phone pictures but just to prove Jenna was there playing between naps.
