Boo at the Zoo

We love going to Boo at the Zoo every year. It has been weird going without Brooke.
The animals were out on the sunny day.  Unfortunately, so were the bees that ruined our lunch.

Jenna loves going in and out of the house.  Something about opening and closing the door and shutters that just makes it fun!

Another tooth lost

Brooke lost her second tooth on the bottom.  She has the top tooth now wiggling.

Buddy Walk

The time has come for the Buddy Walk.  They moved the location and added a few new things that made for a nice change.

The Northview baseball team was nice enough to come out and show their support.

Grandma and Jenna dancing.

Lindsey LOVED Muddy and Madonna.  She would hug them over and over and then follow them around in awe.

The team.  We had 96 people sign up for Team Lindsey!  I am so thankful for the continued support we have received over the years.

New walking path.

Lindsey was pretty tired out from all the festivities.

Her poster this year that was displayed during the Buddy Walk.

Carrie and Tim showing they can still hula hoop

Lindsey loved looking at all the pictures of herself.

Jamie's Annual Hayride

We made the trip to Jamie's annual hayride. The drive is totally worth it. I get to see friends that I haven't seen for a few months and the kids always have a great time playing together.
Lindsey checking out the animals on the farm.

Jenna thought the goats were pretty neat.

The goats thought Lindsey was pretty cool.

Getting ready to go on the hayride.

They drop you off out in the middle of an open field.  There are multiple sites around the field that hold the bonfires separate from each other.

Brooke made some new friends.

Ready to head back after a couple hours of play, roasting hotdogs, and making smores.

Brooke's Last Soccer Game

Brooke showed improvement over the soccer season with all the practices. She still won't play knock out though.  Brooke did actually say she would have to think about but maybe just maybe she would want to play again next year.  I may have to bribe with gymnastics.
She is happy to play goalie

Kick that ball!

Brooke's Last Cross Country Meet

Brooke had a great time running with her friends at the cross country meets.  She didn't complain about going and kept talking about how she wanted a better number.  Sad there were only 3 meets.  This will be one she will be happy do again next year.

Big Girl Swing

At Lindsey's last IEP meeting her teacher had mentioned how well she was doing on a regular swing. Her PT was happy to hear she holds on to the sides of it like she should. They did say that it is still hard for her because their swings are a little high off the ground and only continue to get more packed down through the school year. I had still been putting her in the bucket swing at home so I had to see for myself. I figured it was something I could work with her on at home. And what do you know, she does do well.  We still have to work on her pumping her legs but she is secure with us pushing her on a regular swing.  That doesn't mean she isn't thrilled to see Jenna in the bucket swing.

Go girl, go, fly high!!!

I spied on her at her last PMD swim time.  The girls always have such positive things to say about her swimming.  Yet, when we get her in the pool she remains attached to us.  Lindsey swam back and forth (with her puddle jumper on) between the two girls and throwing a ball around swimming to it.  Can't fool me any more little stinker !

Well visit

Lindsey had her well visit.  She is growing just like I thought.  Finally able to wear 3T jeans at almost 5 years old.  Leggings we can get her in a 4T.  She weighed 31 pounds and is 35.5 inches.  She remains on the chart for typical kids.  11% Height and 38% Weight.  Lindsey screamed and put up a good fight but still went home with 3 band aids for her vaccines.
She also had a follow up appointment with her ENT.  Hearing tested out fine and tubes remain in place.  Her eye doctor appointment at the beginning of the month also went well.  How he can see and figure what he does on a squirming screaming kid amazing me each time.  She checked out well and is in the clear for glasses for another year unless we notice any problems.

More Fall Fun

Jenna loves going in and out of the playhouse.
Her favorite thing is playing peek a boo through the shutters.

Rare moments of these two so close together and one of them isn't screaming.

Slide fun

Sitting on the front porch watching for the bus to bring Lindsey home.

Fall Fun

We are trying to get as much playtime outdoors while we can.
It can change a mood right around.
