Sweet Jenna

I finally had Jenna's pictures done again. My intention was to have them done at 6 months. I wanted her to be sitting up well for the pictures so I aimed for the end of 6 months. I completely forgot about a change with my work schedule and that I no longer was free during the week. We ended up at the 7 month age for pictures.  It worked out because she still wasn't the greatest sitter.  She has some amazing pictures.  It was hard to pick just a few to upload.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jenna 7 Months

 

I will catch up.  I will catch up.
That is what I keep telling myself as the end of January nears and I still have to backdate some from last year. 
I will start with Jenna's 7 Month picture.
She is getting so big and vocal.
She can't seem to hold that big melon up long.  Her body is so much smaller than her head that is still isn't sitting on her own so well. 
No teeth even though after 4 nights of waking through the night I thought for sure it must be the culprit.  10 days worth of antibiotics and back to sleeping like an angel with no teeth.  Her feet are her favorite toy.  Oh my how she has grown so fast.

My kid's latest lovey

Brooke has always had what she calls her pink blanket. You know they thing you need whenever you are sick or what you take to bed with you every night. A lovey. She has collected many other things that she adds to the list but most don't last.

What is Brooke's latest lovey?

A puke bucket.

It has to be the same container which she has labeled the puke bucket. No she isn't sick. Hasn't had the stomach flu for at least a month. But the puke bucket still exists. She goes to bed with it.

 

In the car she has a bag she holds just like this the whole time. Doesn't matter how short or how long the car ride. Lets hope this doesn't last.

 

 

First foods

Jenna was not a fan of anything solid food related for a long time.  I skipped the rice cereal with all the arsenic scare.  I can't help it.  When you work with Oncology patients you tend to freak about things like that.  Once she was just about 6 months I decided to start.  Same as with all my other kids.  Start with the green veggies move on to the orange and then finish up with the fruit.  She hated all things vegetables.  I gave her some time off and tried again a couple weeks later.  Still nothing.  So I waited again and then just went straght for the good stuff.  Applesauce.  She ate it right up and hasn't turned back on the solids.  I guess the third born really does follow their own set of rules.
