Getting so big

Yep, a blog post overload.  I haveto get October caught up.
Jenna is getting so big. 
All her pretty smiles.

Jenna 4 Month well visit

 

Jenna had her 4 month well visit.
She is growing.  Well her head anyway.  No really she stayed pretty much at the same stats.
Weight 12 lbs 12oz
Height 24 inches
I don't remember which went with which but it was the 23rd and 20th percentile
Head still in the 89th percentile at 41.5 cm
I wasn' sure if she would have the immunizations this month.  She is still on amoxicillin for an ear infection.  She had a fever and was holding her ear last week.  I took her in on Friday and sure enough first ear infection for my baby.  She is doing good and the ears both looked good so she went ahead with the immunizations.

Sharing

 

If someone would ask me if Lindsey shares I probably would have said not much.  Just like typical sisters she fights with Brooke over toys.  Usually there is yelling and Lindsey's hand shooshing her away.  When I saw Nolan going for the Ipad Lindsey was playing with I thought she would flip.  Not at all.  She pushed it towards him and they played.  He thought she was the funniest thing.  Until her tried to pick the Ipad up and then sharing was over.

Fall Parade and Festival

Did I mention how bummed I am to be back at work. I had a little taste of what it was like to have the weekends off this summer. I just keep telling myself how good I really do have it with my schedule and once everyone is older getting off this weekend thing would be good. Until then Tim is great at taking them to all the weekend festivities and takes lots of pictures.

Fleitz Pumpkin Farm

It was a busy weekend for Tim. I can't say much about these pictures since I wasn't there. He took the girls to the DSAGT party at Fleitz Pumpkin Farm.

Sounded like they had another great year.  They met me at work with apple cider and doughnuts.  Yummy!

Happy 4th Birthday Lindsey

Lindsey is 4! We started her birthday off with a present at breakfast. Her party won't be till later with Brooke's but a girl needs something to open on her birthday.

She has been playing with Brooke's Zhu Zhu pets.  She has one of her own but just loves to get them all going.  She likes putting them inside things for some reason.  Her play mailbox, pretend kitchen microwave and oven, or the kitchen cupboards.  She was thrilled to add another to her friends.

So much she wouldn't put it down and kept giving it kisses.

 

 

We had her favorite dinner, PIZZA!  Once dinner was done we busted out the cookie cake.  These things never last long in our house.
She kept sticking her thumb in the frosting as we were singing.  MMMM. 

She kept making the noises that she was trying to blow out the candle.

Zachary

Tim's side of the family is growing fast and Zachary couldn't wait to join in the fun. Kelly and Eric welcomed Zachary on October 6th. He is just a little guy. 5lbs 4oz 18 inches.

While Brooke doesn't look thrilled she was happy to hold him just not to have a picture taken.

Picking out pumpkins

We had already been to Gust Brothers for the school field trip but Tim really wanted to wait and go back to pick out pumpkins later.  So later comes after a split night shift weekend.  All I wanted to do was crawl under the blankets.  Instead I put on a coat, got in the car, and forgot my camera.  The iPhone pics would just have to do.  They picked out their pumpkins and visited with a few of their favorite animals.  Lindsey is in love with baby chicks.  She could have watched them the whole time and forgot all about the rest of the farm.

Brooke talent

 

Ever get asked that random question about a weird talent?  Brooke has her answer.  She can balance a spoon on her nose.  She not only can balance it but can move it around like an elephant trunk and it still doesn't fall off.  Funniest thing to watch besides her Gangham Style dancing.  See that hat?  Another story.  She won't take it off.  Sleeps with it and wore it to school this morning.  Found out after school the only time she took it off was during gym class because she was hot.  If she could have figured a way to shower with it on she would have.

Fall Hayride

Last year Jamie started her annual fall hay ride and bonfire. It is so worth the trip to see old college friends and let the kids play together.
