Fun at the Park

Brooke played at the park today. She laughed histarically going down the slide and on the swings.

Sorry the video is flipped. Tim took it thinking that we could just rotate it. I couldn't resist the giggles even on the side. If anyone knows a trick let us know.

Imagine what she will do with a cake

Brooke had an Oreo tonight after dinner. As you can see she enjoyed it. She went right from the highchair to the bathtub. Just think of what she will do with her own cake. When you look close you can see the top tooth that has started to drop and the one next to it that is starting to break. She is such a ham. This is the face I get most times when she sees the camera.

Fun Fall Day

Brooke was getting tired going in circles with her push along toy in the house so we decided to try it out while it was still nice outside. There was no stopping her and she LOVED every minute of it. You can probably see how much drooling she is doing by the look of her coat in such a short time. I also realized today that I am working on trying to get her scrapbook up to date for her birthday and I have uploaded 287 pictures to Shutterfly just in October. Someone please take the camera away until I am done! Brooke has also been testing her balance more today and has stood all by herself if only for a few seconds.

Brooke is 11 Months

Some of you may recognize the ghost. He had many names in college and most of my roommates thought he was a little scary. Yep, he is still comes around for Halloween. Brooke is 11 Months OLD! I can't not imagine singing "Happy Birthday" to my little baby in less then a month. She won't be a baby, she will be a toddler. Oh my gosh, we will have a toddler! Brooke is busy. She loves to crawl all over the house, push the garbage can (even though we tell her "no") around the kitchen, dances with Elmo, chases the dogs, and just plain being an 11 month old. She still loves anything Elmo. Brooke is pointing at everything and it almost sounds like she is saying"what is that, what is that" over and over. Dada is still her favorite word. She wakes up in the morning and just says "dadada" over and over while she throws each pacifier out of the crib one by one. Brooke still hasn't given up on the fight to get her diaper changed. I think she has both top teeth coming in right now so she has the sniffles. She cruises all over the house and tries to let go of things but doesn't have the balance thing down yet and plops right down on her butt. She is such a happy baby giggling and babbling all the time.

Brooke's Dad is the The Man!

Need we say more.

Doesn't work for me!

Brooke is at a stage where she is constantly attached at my leg. I usually have to set my alarm so I wake up before her or wait till nap time to even be able to take a shower. She is now opening all the drawers and cabinets so we have had to take babyproofing another step. Oh the days when we could put her down in one spot and know that is where she would stay.

Our Lil' Pumpkin

It
was time for The Toledo Zoo's "Little Boo at The Zoo" event. It's the perfect Halloween party for the pint-sized poltergeists. This year's frightfully fun events includeed trick-or-treat stations, games, and Fisher-Price's giant play area. Brooke could hardly keep her eyes open.

Future Scrapper

Scrapbooker that is. Brooke loves to page through my old scrapbooks pointing at the pictures of everyone and laughing. Some of these books will have to be hidden away when she gets older since we all know that no parent ever drank or did anything wrong.

Did any food make it in your mouth?

What dinner at the Szparka house has turned into. Brooke had sqaush, lasagna, and banna custard pudding. Maybe not the combination we might eat but she enjoyed every bite of it. Hey Brooke I think you have a little food right there...no over... over..EVERYWHERE! Got it!

That makes #3

Sorry no pic yet. I took Brooke to visit with Grandma and Grandpa yesterday and to get some scrapbooking done with Christa and Carrie at the same time. I noticed this morning when she gave me her gummy grin that there it was a tooth popping through on top. She hasn't had any obvious complaints except not wanting to eat much. She did pretty well when the 2 bottom teeth were coming in so lets keep our fingers crossed she continues to be that way. Our little girl is growing so fast!

Our Lil' Farmer

We took Brooke out to pick the perfect pumpkin at the pumpkin farm. She interacted with the animals and went on a hayride.

She had fun riding in the wagon exploring the farm.
Mom & Dad posing with Brooke for a family picture.
On her trip to the farm she had the chance to see farm animals up close.

She cracked up at the baby pigs.

The cows were getting a little too close. This one kept tring to eat her shoe.

While the other one just wanted everything. What a huge Tongue!

So many pumpkins to pick from.

I want the biggest one I can find!

Brooke went on her first hayride through the fields. We all had a great time.

Where Do We Eat Dinner?

I am trying to get a scrapbook done before Brooke's 1st Birthday which is under 6weeks away. I am working on it during naptimes and at bedtimes. I have taken so many pictures of Brooke that I hope I can get it done until then this is what my kitchen table will look like.

Michigan Cheerleader

Touchdown Michigan!!!

I just maybe the best dressed
cheerleader ever!!!
So Dad and I sat around to watch Michigan beat Purdue, I was dressed for the game, in my new outfit, that Mom bought me, so don't even think that Dad is the only Michigan fan in the house. After watching the game Dad and I ran to his office did some work and met up with Ryan and Miss Janet before we were off to see Great Grandma and family for dinner. We had a long day that ended with a warm relaxing bath, a book and off to bed.

But Dad I'm Cold!

I begged to turn the heat on. Once I said but Brooke is cold, bam it's on. What a Daddy's girl! Guess she has him wrapped around her finger. So yes, the heat is on in Toledo.

Elmo is Attached

Now that it's chilly I put Brooke in some slippers. She noticed that Elmo was attached to her feet. Brooke kept looking down and laughing.

Brusha Brusha

Once Brooke is done with her bath she brushes her teeth. Ok well she chews on the toothbrush while I try and get those 2 front teeth.

Who Woke Me Up?

It was such a hot night for October that I couldn't resist this picture of her sprawled out sleeping. She caught me!

Master of the Ball Popper

Brooke loves her Playskool ball popper. She pushes the button and off she goes. Brooke now chases the balls all around the room and puts them back to see them pop right back out.

Baby Einstein = Baby Crack

Tiny Couch Potatoes Tell the truth: Do you plop baby in front of the tube? The American Academy of Pediatrics says, "Don't do it!" (Yep. They actually use those words.) Their policy is NO TV before age two. Then there's research published earlier this year in the Archives of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, stating that 90% of Americans under age two are regular TV watchers

I'm Free
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free.
I'm following the path God laid for me. I took God's hand when I heard the call, I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, to laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found that place at close of day. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, ah yes, those things, I too, will miss. Be not burdened with the times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savored much, good friends, good times, a loved one's touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief; don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me- God wanted me now. God set me free.

Never turn your back! Brooke found the toilet paper and was proud of her accomplishment.
