Sister Fun

Jenna has some great sisters

They both love to play with her.  Jenna has been taking an interest in their toys making play time all that more fun.

Messy fun

Self feeding sure is fun and it sure is messy!
Jenna getting all excited looking at my cornbread muffin.  She was way more excited when I shared some of it with her.

Spaghetti is a always a fun favorite.  It makes quite the mess.

Trash Pet

Brooke had an Earth Day project at school. They had to make a "trash pet".
After going through the recyclables Brooke and her day made a dog.

Complete with K cups for eyes. The handle of a gallon of milk for a tail.  Toilet paper rolls for the legs.  The inside of the container was even filled with pictures off boxes and bags Brooke cut out to look like food in his belly.

Ipad fanatic

The Ipad is a hot item in our house.  I guess Jenna wanted to see what all the fuss was about.

Standing and Playing

Yikes, I a month behind.  I started getting the next book printed. I do want to continue and make sure I keep up with the blog.
Jenna is standing but has no interest in cruising or pulling to stand.

Cousin fun

Little Miss Emily and Jenna. Lindsey couldn't resist slipping in.

We have had a burst of baby fun on Tim's side.  All his brothers and his sister had a baby within months of each other.  The three girls will all start at the same school together. These babies are going to have fun growing up together.

Bunny ears

Jenna loved her Marshmallow Bunny ears.

Easter Dress

Once all the Easter morning fun was over we went to Tim's Grandma's house for some more Easter fun with the family. The girls wore their Easter best.

Easter Egg Hunt

After the baskets were found Brooke and Lindsey headed outside to find the eggs.

I need to remind the Easter bunny next year that I end up eating way too much of the candy she brings and to cut down on it.  They had a blast with it though.

Easter Morning

Tim grew up with the Easter bunny hiding his baskets and the Easter bunny does the same here. I had to take a picture before the baskets were hidden away. Trying to stuff these things made it seem more like Christmas than Easter.

Jenna looking for something good.

Lindsey only wants the Reese Egg.  A girl who knows what to go after.

My little bunny

Brooke was sooo ticked that she found her sister's baskets first and still couldn't find her own.
It was amusing to Tim and I but not at all to her.

A little bowling fun

Another fun trip bowling.  We had to keep these girls busy over spring break.  It was fun spending all this time together.

Wildwood Egg Hunt

The Easter egg hunt at the gym is always a good time for the girls. After bootcamp for the adults we gather the kids from the kids club for some Easter fun. Brooke was with the older kids so Tim and I split.   First we had to say hello to the Easter bunny.

Tim was with Lindsey.  She had a full bucket of goodies.

I was with Brooke and the older kids.  I kept Jenna with me so keeping up with the big kids was a challenge.  They were a blur running and collecting.

Jenna's well visit

Jenna had her 9 month well visit a couple weeks ago.  March 18 for baby book sake.  It wasn't a free and clear kind of well visit. Lets start with the easy stuff.
Height 27 inches and weight 17 pounds 5 ounces.
She loves eating and was going after Daddy's pizza.

Jenna had started on Amoxicillin for an ear infection.  As she ended the 6th day she started with hives.  Her face and legs were the worst.  I was really hoping it was just a fluke but the next day they were still there.  Nothing else was new.  The doctor confirmed that she has a penicillin allergy.

Gross motor.  I like to think she is lazy.  She has two older sisters that do everything for her.  We were liking that we weren't having to chase her all over the house yet.  It was great having a kid that I wasn't obsessing over what she can't do but instead knowing how easy it would come for her when she was ready.  As the doctor was rattling off the gross motor list I was saying no to many of the questions that were appropriate for her age.  The doctor expressed some concern but said she would see how she was at the one year visit.  I left frustrated.

So home we went and now I have been working with her the same ways we worked with Lindsey.  Fine motor and socially Jenna shines.

Playland Golf and Play

Another fun afternoon was spent at Sylvania Playland. We started with Glow Golf.   It isn't huge or hard by any means.  Perfect for little kids though.  Lindsey laughing playing with Daddy.  Don't let her fool you.  She wasn't having it and screamed most of the golfing.
Brooke had a grand ol' time with the putt putt

The pictures weren't that great from my phone.  The days we do remember the camera we end up leaving the memory card behind or the battery is dead.

Making it out the door with 3 kids is an accomplishment itself some day.

The glow golf didn't take long so we went next door and let the girls run around in the playland area.
