Training wheels

Brooke decided she wanted her training wheels off her bike.

She is quite wobbly but keeps trying.
We will see what determination and spring will bring.

Walleye Game

Last weekend Tim and Doug took Brooke and Lindsey to the Walleye hockey game with the DASGT group. From what I hear everyone had a great time.

Looks like Lindsey was happy.

Brooke looks happy to cheer on the team.

Smurf Movie Night

Brooke is always asking to go to the movie store when we drive past. She told me one day that she secretly waves "hi" to it everyday on the bus. I agreed to take her and have a girls movie night. She picked the Smurf movie. It is a really cute movie. We had a good movie night complete with popcorn.

Lindsey even watched the whole thing.

Nala is always close by the girls waiting for them share their snacks.

Judging by the size of her, they share quite well.

This Guy

Was meant to have all girls.

Bath night is not complete without a trip to Dad's Beauty Salon.

The package includes wash, blow dry, and books.

Yep, crazy!

I case I haven't mentioned it enough. Lindsey is a walking machine! Brooke had to put her vest on Lindsey like a salon cape.

Bored

While we have had a mild winter the weather still does keep us indoors most days. The sun doesn't shine as bright and it gets dark at dinner time. All this winter puts me in a funk. A what can we do today funk. I am tired of telling both girls no more TV. What is one thing I like to do to pass the time? Bake. It makes me happy to see my kitchen aid swirl. A few of my favorites lately...
Cookie Dough Dip-ohhh so yummy with chocolate graham crackers. I made it to share at work on Super Bowl Sunday. I wasn't sure it would make it there. I now am looking for an excuse to make another batch.
Pizza Dip- so easy to make and was gone in no time. I took a loaf of italian bread and tore it in chunks to dip. We also tried the Bacon Cheeseburger dip. Don't get me wrong I had no problem eating this stuff there were just more steps than the pizza dip.
Some good old chocolate chip cookies are always easy and I seem to have the ingredients on hand everytime.
Buttermilk Blueberry Breakfast Cake-Blueberries have been on super sale lately and I have picked up quite a few since Brooke loves to eat them with everything. One set wasn't so great for eating right out of the container. I had been wanting to make this among all the other recipes I have found thanks to pinterest. It was divine for breakfast.lunch.dinner.snack.

I could go on and on about everything I have made thanks to the stomach rumbling, I wasn't hungry before looking at pinterest pictures. I just hope the groundhog wasn't right and we can get the bikes out without bundling up.

Going to hang on to this

Brooke is always bringing home pictures and letters for me from school. This is a keeper.
