Lunch

 

Jenna has been in the stage of. "I will put anything in mouth".  We were able to skip it with Lindsey.  She never and still doesn't put stuff in her mouth.  Sometimes there are even things we wish Lindsey would.  Like her peanut butter and jelly sandwich.  Anyway so Jenna wants to explore everything and tries to put it all in her mouth.  Most of Brooke's toys are now quarantined to her bedroom.

Festerama

Tim took the girls to St Joe's Festerama. It was my weekend to work so all I can really share are the pictures. I was told Brooke was such a great big sister helper.

Brooke figured out how to do a flip on the trampoline.  And then she did it over and over again!

 

Teeth?

 

Jenna has her bottle 2 teeth.  I tried to get a good picture of them but instead some cute little smiles.

T ball

Brooke had her first tball game. We have trouble getting her to stick with one sport. She likes them at the start and slowly starts talking about how she doesn't want to go back. Once she is there she seems to really enjoy it.  Her team is actually called the "Flying Unicorns".  Leave it to a bunch of Kindergarten girls to pick a name like that.  Somehow they wouldn't/couldn't get their tshirts like that so while their shirts say Giants they are the Flying Unicorns through and through.

Batter up

The helmets are ginormous so Brooke has to hold onto it as she runs the bases.  Once everyone bats through they just finish off and run the bases.  

 

 

Last day of Preschool

 

My how Lindsey has grown over this last school year. She is making her "bus" sound in the last day picture. It comes out more with just the "sss" but we all know what it means. She loves seeing that yellow bus pull up in the morning. Judging by the interaction with the bus drivers they enjoy her just as much. She is signing so much. Many times I think she is and we just don't know what it means. She goes up and down the steps on the bus with just a little assist. More just to catch her if she were to loose her balance. Lindsey is going to miss seeing that bus pull up in the morning.

Kalahari

We had passes we needed to use up for Kalahari. The girl (and Tim) always have a blast.

Lindsey and Jenna loved the swings.

 

 

Brooke going down a little slide with Leah.  She is big enough for the larger slides and even managed to get her Grandma to take a trip down one with her.

Cousin fun

Tim took Lindsey out and they had an area set up for the kids to decorate cookies for free.  She was nice enough to decorate one for Brooke and Leah since the activity was just about over.

Fun Outside

The warm weather brings everyone outside.  Lindsey is not the easiest kid to get to stay outside.  She usually is running down the side walk with her stroller or trying to break back in the house.  Here she decided to relax and watch us work on the landscaping with a snack.

Jenna loves being outside and with a little help from the pack n play I don't have to worry about her eating grass.

Brooke, well she thinks it is fun to climb trees.  Me, not so much.

 

Mother's Day 2013

I may have been off work for my 1st Mother's Day with Brooke but since then I have been on weekends and have worked the weekend ever since.  Just having the weekend off this year was a special treat.  The girls had all sorts of homemade gifts for me.  Brooke was sent home from school sick on Thursday and wasn't well enough on Friday to go back.  All she was worried about was how she was going to finish and give me her gifts.  Brooke's teacher was nice enough to let Tim pick them up from school so Brooke could finish at home. 

Brooke had a jewelry box she decorated along with all sorts of artwork she made at school.

Lindsey planted flowers for me at school.

 

My mom always says "Tim"

My mom makes me laugh when "she tell me jokes"
I love my mom because "she loves me"

It was a windy bright day so my idea of getting a quick picture before we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house didn't work out so well. 
So is my life as a mom :)

 

 

Big sister help?

Lindsey loves to help Jenna. Sometimes maybe a little too much. If she comes across a bottle or pacifier she takes it to Jenna. Usually this ends in a fight of Jenna not wanting it and Lindsey repetitively shoving it back in her mouth.  She is usually right next to us when we are feeding her and climbed up in the chair in an attempt to give her baby food off the spoon.

 

 

Multiple Uses

Jenna has found that she can use her legs to help out when it comes to holding her bottle and playing.

I must say she has a pretty good balancing act going.

 

 

Baby Bair Girls

 

We are so happy to have the Bair's back in town.  Tim and Lindsey were there they just were at a potty break.  We walked with two special miracles, Rachel & Lauren at the March of Dimes March for Babies.
